How do our knowledge users want to be involved in the research process and knowledge exchange, and what are the best ways to keep them engaged? This is what researchers aimed to determine from this mixed methods study that identified the most effective ways to partner with knowledge users to achieve the common goal of improving health services for adults with multiple chronic conditions. Knowledge users including patients and their families, health professionals, health system decision-makers, researchers and students, were asked these five questions.
