MIRA | Collaborative for Health & Aging launches new microsite to share resources for patient-oriented research in aging

Researchers can access more resources and supports for patient-oriented research in aging on the new MIRA Collaborative for Health & Aging microsite.

This vibrant and informative site, found at miracollaborative.ca and mira.mcmaster.ca, furthers the Collaborative’s goal to build capacity and advance Ontario’s health care system by using integrated, coordinated and patient-centered approaches to patient-oriented research in aging.

Online visitors can now access each of the Collaborative’s five areas of expertise, highlighting its objectives, work in progress and researchers involved in these initiatives. Upcoming events, including webinars and information about consultation services is also easy to find.

The MIRA Collaborative for Health & Aging is funded by the Ontario SPOR SUPPORT Unit (OSSU) and was formed by the Aging, Community and Health Research Unit (ACHRU) and the McMaster Institute for Research on Aging (MIRA). Maureen Markle-Reid and Parminder Raina co-lead the Collaborative, and are scientific directors of ACHRU and MIRA.
